Performance Creative Strategist


Location: On-Site (5 days/week), NYC Financial District

Salary: $100k–$130k

Status: Full-Time


Fast-growing CPG brand redefining clean with zero-toxin, plant-powered products. With strong momentum, the brand is entering a high-growth phase where performance-driven creative is central to scaling revenue and virality.


About the Role

This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role owning performance creative for paid social, primarily Meta, with expansion into new channels. You will concept, create, edit, and test ads end-to-end—partnering with media and analytics to drive growth. This is for someone who makes the ads, not just briefs them.


What You’ll Do

  • Own performance creative strategy for paid social (Meta + new channels)
  • Concept, script, edit, and version high-performing video ads (30s–2 min)
  • Build viral-first creative (UGC, founder-led, POV, problem/solution, trends)
  • Rapidly test hooks, formats, and messaging using AI and creative automation
  • Partner with media + analytics to iterate based on performance
  • Stay ahead of platform trends and performance best practices
  • Maintain a strong testing cadence and creative iteration pipeline


What We’re Looking For

  • 4–7+ years in performance creative, paid social, or growth marketing (CPG/DTC preferred)
  • Proven track record scaling ads on Meta
  • Strong instincts for hooks, pacing, storytelling, and conversion
  • Experience with longer-form paid video (30s–2 min)
  • Hands-on with AI tools for ideation, editing, or testing
  • Highly experimental, fast-moving, and execution-driven



Bonus

  • Video editing (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, After Effects)
  • UGC/content creation experience
  • Network of editors, designers, or creators
