ROLE

As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of audit clients across different industries, ranging from large PLCs to smaller SMEs.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and overseeing a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring compliance with IFRS/UKGAAP standards.
  • Preparing accounts and corporation tax computations/returns for limited companies.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax and VAT regulations, UK law, and principles of good governance.
  • Providing practical advice on regulatory matters.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Delivering on revenue and profitability targets for your portfolio.
  • Supporting workflow planning and team management, mentoring junior staff to develop their skills.
  • Supporting local partners with ad hoc duties as required.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and quality of audit services.
  • Contributing to the firm’s growth by fostering a high-performance culture within your team.


PERSON

For this Audit Manager position, we are looking for a qualified audit professional with:

  • ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualification.
  • A strong working knowledge of IFRS and UKGAAP.
  • Experience auditing clients across a variety of industries, from SMEs to larger corporations.
  • Proven ability to manage a client portfolio and deliver results.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching junior team members.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a client-focused approach.
