OVERVIEW

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a UK Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a prestigious international group in the business services sector. ROLE

As the UK CFO, you will take ownership of the finance function, overseeing financial reporting, strategic planning, and team management. Reporting directly to the UK CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and supporting the company's growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.
  • Oversee the preparation of management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making at the senior leadership level.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and manage external audits.
  • Drive financial planning and analysis to support investment decisions.


PERSON

The ideal candidate will be a qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with experience in a similar-sized business. You will have a hands-on approach and a keen interest in supporting both operational and strategic initiatives.

Key Attributes:

  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior finance role.
  • Strong analytical skills, with an eye for process improvement.
  • Effective leadership qualities, with a track record of managing and developing teams.
  • Experience with M&A activity is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the business.
