You’ll lead commercial performance analysis, support strategic decision-making, and act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders.

OPPORTUNITY

The successful candidate for this Commercial Finance Manager position will serve as the finance conscience of the business, enabling commercial teams to make data-driven decisions and helping leadership identify risks and opportunities. This role will span budgeting, forecasting, margin analysis, and commercial modelling across a diverse consumer‑facing operation. Your responsibilities will include:

• Owning monthly management accounts, commercial forecasts, and budgets
• Delivering variance and margin analysis across product lines, sites, and customer segments
• Partnering with commercial, sales, procurement, and operations teams to drive profitability
• Providing robust financial modelling to support pricing strategy, investment decisions, and business cases
• Ensuring consistency in reporting (dashboards, scorecards, KPIs) across sites
• Leading regular insight reviews and presenting to senior leadership
• Identifying areas for margin improvement and recommending actions to operational teams
• Supporting system improvement, automation, and process enhancement across finance and commercial functions

PERSON

As the Commercial Finance Manager, it might go without saying that we’re looking for a commercially-minded finance professional who combines strong modelling skills with collaborative influence. You’ll be known for clarity of thought, attention to detail, and an ability to engage across functional teams. You’ll have:

• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience in a commercial finance, business partnering, or FP&A role—ideally in a multi-site, consumer-facing environment
• Strong financial modelling and analysis capability (Excel, Power BI/Tableau desirable)
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence non-finance colleagues
• Comfort navigating ambiguity, working across geographies, and shifting commercial priorities
• A continuous improvement mindset—keen to streamline financial processes and drive automation
