Finance Business Partner – Industrial Sector

Up to £70,000 + benefits | Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid | Midlands

OPPORTUNITY

The Finance Business Partner will provide analytical insight, challenge, and commercial guidance to senior stakeholders across key business areas. You’ll act as a bridge between finance and operations - helping leaders understand performance drivers, identify risks and opportunities, and make informed, profitable decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with divisional and operational leaders to deliver financial insight and challenge
  • Leading forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning cycles
  • Analysing divisional performance and providing commentary on key drivers
  • Supporting investment appraisals, business cases, and strategic projects
  • Developing and improving financial reporting and KPIs
  • Contributing to post-acquisition integration and group-wide improvement initiatives
  • Building trusted relationships across finance and the wider business


PERSON

You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in commercial finance or business partnering within a complex, fast-paced business. You’ll bring curiosity, confidence, and the ability to challenge constructively.

You will bring:

  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management experience
  • Excellent analytical, modelling, and presentation skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or multi-entity environments (preferred)
  • A collaborative mindset and a desire to add tangible commercial value
