FULL-TIME | DIRECT HIRE POSITION | ONSITE - TAMPA BAY, FL


We are engaged in a search for an IT Service Management Leader in Tampa Bay, FL . This is an on-site, full-time, direct hire position with our large enterprise healthcare client.


Local candidates will only be considered.


In this newly created role, you will lead and mature enterprise IT service operations by optimizing ITIL-based processes and driving continuous improvement across a regulated healthcare environment.

This role owns the design, administration, and evolution of the ITSM ecosystem, with a strong hands-on focus on CMDB, ensuring service reliability, compliance, and operational excellence.


What you’ll do

  • Lead day-to-day IT service operations with a focus on availability, performance, and reliability
  • Own and optimize OpenText SMAX (workflows, service portal, automation, reporting) and UCMDB (CI accuracy, discovery, impact analysis)
  • Govern ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Asset & Configuration, Knowledge)
  • Drive automation, root cause analysis, and service quality improvements
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, SOC2, HITRUST)
  • Partner with infrastructure, security, vendors, and business stakeholders
  • Report service performance, risks, and improvements to leadership


What we’re looking for

  • 10+ years in IT Service Management experience, ideally in healthcare
  • Strong hands-on experience with OpenText SMAX and UCMDB
  • Proven success in improving IT services and ITIL process maturity
  • Experience leading in complex, multi-vendor environments
  • ITIL certification preferred; OpenText certifications a plus
