Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour 

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Day shift (8 AM - 5 PM)

Job Summary:

As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients for various tests, ensuring proper labeling and handling of specimens. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in phlebotomy, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Patient Care:

 - Perform blood draws using venipuncture and other collection techniques.

 - Ensure patient comfort and provide clear explanations of the procedure.

 - Address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.

- Specimen Handling:

 - Accurately label and process blood specimens following established protocols.

 - Maintain proper storage and transport of specimens to the laboratory.

- Safety & Compliance:

 - Adhere to all safety and infection control procedures to protect both patients and staff.

 - Follow all regulatory and compliance guidelines related to phlebotomy.

- Administrative Duties:

 - Manage patient records, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.

 - Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments as needed.

- Professional Development:

 - Stay current with phlebotomy best practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in phlebotomy preferred.

- Proven experience as a Phlebotomist, with strong knowledge of blood collection techniques.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
