About the Role:
We are seeking an innovative Bioinformatics Scientist to join our team and contribute to advancing our research and development efforts. This role involves designing and implementing computational methods to analyze complex biological data, supporting data-driven insights in genomics, transcriptomics, and other omics fields. The ideal candidate will have experience in bioinformatics, strong programming skills, and a passion for discovering biological insights that can drive scientific and clinical progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply bioinformatics pipelines for analyzing high-throughput data, such as RNA-seq, DNA-seq, and other omics data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computational methods into research projects.
- Perform data quality control, preprocessing, and statistical analysis of biological datasets.
- Generate biological insights from data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to the team.
- Stay current with bioinformatics tools, technologies, and trends to enhance research capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or related field; or Master’s degree with equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Perl and experience with bioinformatics software and tools.
- Familiarity with genomics data sources, databases, and analysis methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a research-driven environment.
