THE ROLE

STRIVE is currently recruiting for a Temporary Recruiter to support a growing professional services company with multiple branches across Western Canada. They are looking for a Temporary Recruiter to support recruitment activity during a busy period. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be directly involved in phone screening, sourcing resumes, and coordinating interviews. You’ll work closely with the HR team to manage day-to-day recruiting needs and ensure a smooth candidate experience. This opportunity is ideal for someone confident on the phone, organized, and proactive in driving recruitment forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct phone screens and initial interviews, providing notes and candidate assessments.
• Source and review resumes for a variety of roles (with a focus on field technicians).
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
• Communicate effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Track recruitment activity using Outlook, Excel, LinkedIn, and Indeed.
• Support general HR/recruiting tasks and maintain momentum in hiring processes.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2+ years of recruiting or HR support experience.
• Comfortable conducting phone interviews and candidate outreach.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Availability 2–3 days per week on-site in Surrey
• Proficient in MS Office.
