THE ROLE

As an Industrial Millwright, you’re the go-to expert who keeps the machines moving. You’ll install, maintain, and repair the equipment that powers production—using your skills to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues. From motors and pumps to valves and controls, your work ensures every part of the process runs efficiently and safely.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Install, assemble, and align industrial machinery and equipment using blueprints, schematics, and precision tools.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or part fabrication as required.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments to prevent breakdowns.
  • Operate hoists, dollies, and power tools to safely move and position machinery.
  • Lead and mentor apprentices, ensuring work is completed safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, follow safety procedures, and uphold quality standards throughout all work performed.



REQUIREMENTS


  • Red seal in Millwright required 433A
  • Completion of post-secondary program in Millwright is preferred
  • 5 years of experience as a millwright in an industrial environment required
  • Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues
  • Strong problem-solving abilities in fast-paced industrial environments
  • Capable of assembling, aligning, and installing heavy machinery and equipment
