THE ROLE

As a driver helper, you will be on the road with the delivery driver all day. You will be unloading and loading the trucks throughout the day at each delivery stop. 75% of your day is traveling in the truck, where you are sitting in the front seat. The other 25% of your time is physical labour when you are loading and unloading the trucks. The products weigh on average 50 lbs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• When doing a pickup or delivery, you will be sorting product and lifting it into and out of the truck
• Help with navigation as needed in the truck
• Load and unload trailers .
• Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, or carts.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must be 18 years
• Must commit to overtime as needed
• Work safely and follow all company policies, procedures, and work practices
• Have a great team attitude and willingness to help
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor
