THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their team on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave. The CSR will act as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring orders and requests are handled with accuracy, professionalism, and efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys building strong customer relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and process customer orders via email, web, and internal systems.
- Verify order details, prepare correspondences, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time fulfillment.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, requests, and complaints—providing timely and effective resolutions.
- Collaborate with shipping and warehouse teams to confirm inventory and release orders for shipment.
- Match shipping documents with completed orders and maintain accurate records.
- Provide backup support for other members of the customer service team as needed.
- Assist with compiling data, generating reports, and preparing documentation for management.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering excellent service and fostering trust.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3–5 years of customer service experience, ideally in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (minimum 2 years required).
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a customer-first mindset.
