THE ROLE

Are you an experienced Welding Supervisor ready to take charge of a skilled team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

We’re looking for a strong leader who can drive quality, safety, and productivity while mentoring welders and fabricators on the shop floor.


The Opportunity

As the Welding Supervisor (Afternoon Shift), you’ll oversee all welding operations, ensuring production schedules are met, safety standards are followed, and weld quality exceeds customer expectations. You’ll play a key role in team development, process improvement, and maintaining a culture of excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Supervise and coordinate a team of welders and fabricators in daily operations
  • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and productivity standards
  • Conduct visual inspections and verify weld quality against specifications
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance and training for team members
  • Support scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization
  • Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings; maintain compliance with all company and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes



REQUIREMENTS:


  • 3+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role within a welding or fabrication environment
  • CWB certification (Level 1 or 2) or equivalent knowledge preferred
  • Strong understanding of MIG, Flux core, and stick welding processes and blueprint reading
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, hands-on production environment
