The Role
Our client is located in Quebec and is a large global steel manufacturing company looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join a team of 5 other ISRs, working fully on-site.
The Inside Sales Representative will be working with the sales team and reporting to the Inside Sales Supervisor, handling incoming orders from customers and providing the best experience to the customer through professional and friendly interactions, showcasing strong product and industry knowledge. Generate leads for the Regional Managers on market information and support with professional interactions with customers.
The shift times for this opportunity are from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Bilingualism is a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships, providing support, technical assistance, and preparing quotes.
- Respond to inquiries across various channels and enter data accurately.
- Ensure quality and efficiency by following procedures and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Generate quotes in line with company policies and customer needs.
- Contribute to team goals by embracing new opportunities and driving product promotions.
- Stay informed on product updates and industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and timely reporting.
- Support sales efforts through follow-ups and lead outreach.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- English and French speaking proficiency.
- 2 - 4+ years of experience performing sales (inside or outside)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Extremely organized with commanding computer proficiency (MS Office / Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Previous industrial, steel, aluminum, copper, raw materials, or building materials experience is a strong asset.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and as a team member to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, exceptional judgment, dependable, excellent teamwork skills, good time management skills, creative, problem-solving, hardworking & persistent, professional competence, proactive
- Current/active driver’s license and ability to travel to the US for any potential sales meetings
Compensation
- $60,000 to $65,000, depending on experience
