THE ROLE

We are hiring a Finishing Technician to join a growing manufacturing facility in Paris, Ontario. In this role, you will work with hand tools and finishing equipment to assemble and refine products, ensuring they meet quality standards. This is a day shift position. It’s a temp-to-perm opportunity with a company that values precision, teamwork, and high-quality craftsmanship.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use hand tools, routers, air tools, drills, scraping tools, finishing knives, and torches for flaming parts
• Assemble components or products efficiently as part of a team
• Perform finishing and packaging tasks to meet company standards
• Monitor quality and report any issues to the supervisor
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Communicate respectfully and effectively with team members
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and company procedures

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
• Extensive experience with hand and power tools
• Physically fit; able to perform repetitive tasks
• Strong grip strength; able to lift 30–35 lbs consistently, up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Mechanically inclined with a detail-oriented approach
• Comfortable working in a team environment
• Good work ethic and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation is required as this location is not on a bus route
