THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated Aerial Lift Service Technician to join a growing, family-focused company that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth. In this role, you will travel throughout London and the surrounding area to service aerial equipment at client sites. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Traveling to service calls in the Hamilton/ GTA area to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot rental and customer equipment
  • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on aerial lift equipment (telehandlers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, skylifts, etc.)
  • Performing accurate documentation of all work performed, parts used, and inspections completed
  • Researching issues using manuals and computerized diagnostic tools
  • Quoting repairs and recommending solutions to customers


REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of mechanical experience working on aerial or construction equipment
  • Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP)
  • Journeyman or Trade Certificate is an asset
  • Strong mechanical experience with aerial lifts or construction equipment (MEWP experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Completion of a post-secondary program and/or apprenticeship OR 5+ years of mechanical trade experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
