THE ROLE

We are currently hiring a Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Associate to join a growing manufacturing company in Paris, ON. This is a day shift, temp-to-permanent opportunity offering steady work and long-term potential.

In this role, you will be responsible for shipping and receiving duties, warehouse operations, and general labour/facility support. When not working in shipping and receiving, you will assist with operating a grinder, packaging, and supporting production as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks
• Operate a counterbalance forklift
• Read and process shipping documents accurately
• Assist with operating a grinder and packaging tasks when required
• General warehouse duties
• Facility maintenance tasks, including daily cleaning, garbage and cardboard disposal
• Seasonal duties such as shovelling and salting
• Perform small maintenance and general labour tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all health and safety policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse environments
• Ability to operate a counterbalance forklift
• Have a valid external forklift certification
• Comfortable reading and understanding shipping documentation
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable assisting with production equipment
• Physically fit and able to perform general labour tasks
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation required
