ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a licensed Tradesperson to join our team as a Mechanical Construction Project General Foreman (Sr. Site Supervisor). In this key leadership role, you will take full responsibility for managing site safety and overseeing the successful execution of mechanical construction projects. You will independently manage one complex project or multiple smaller projects, leading teams of tradespeople, including Site Supervisors, Journeypersons, and Apprentices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage single complex or multiple simpler projects
- Supervise teams, including Journeypersons and Apprentices
- Ensure safety compliance and take full authority for site safety
- Mentor and communicate safety standards and expectations
- Prepare, execute, and monitor project plans, budgets, and labor forecasts
- Track and analyze task completion and provide feedback to staff
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics for materials/equipment delivery
- Conduct site inspections for safety and quality control
- Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation
- Provide technical guidance and professional mentorship
- Communicate and resolve complex issues with PM and Technical departments
- Foster positive relationships with employees, management, clients, and trades
- Support projects and implement process improvements
- Continue upgrading trade, technical, and communication skills
- Support ISO quality control and auditing efforts
REQUIREMENTS:
- Licensing / Red Seal in their specific trade and a member in “Good Standing” within
their trade organization
- Driver’s License and Driver’s Abstract in good standing
- Demonstrated ability to manage a project site(s)
- Completion of required supervisory training
- Leadership skills with ability to manage complex projects effectively
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and company policies
- Experience supervising diverse teams
- Competence in project planning, resource allocation, and budget management
- Familiarity with construction processes and quality control measures
- Ability to mentor and enforce safety/work standards professionally
- Skilled in stakeholder coordination (procurement, clients, trades)
- Proficient in documentation and company procedures (SPMP manual)
- Strong problem-solving and issue resolution skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and skill development
- Flexible and punctual with project requirements
- Ability to manage administrative tasks and support senior staff as needed
