The Role  

Our client is a well-established firm in the insurance and advisory industry, recognized for delivering trusted guidance and tailored solutions in group employee benefits and retirement products. They are seeking a Client Service Manager to join their growing team and play a key role in supporting advisors, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring seamless execution of renewals and new business.


In this position, you’ll act as the main liaison between advisors and carriers, manage a block of business, and provide data-driven recommendations that deliver the best value for clients. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of group benefits, excellent communication skills, and thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment. This is a remote role with an expectation of being in-office at least once a month.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary liaison between advisors and insurance carriers, managing and supporting a block of advisors.
  • Analyze claims data to negotiate renewals and recommend cost-effective, client-focused solutions.
  • Review and compare carrier proposals, preparing accurate reports for advisors on renewals and marketing.
  • Support new business implementation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, maintain advisor information in HubSpot CRM, and prepare documentation as required.
  • Participate in monthly meetings and occasional industry events.


Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in group employee benefits, insurance, or financial services with hands-on renewals experience.
  • Strong knowledge of group benefit principles, terminology, and industry practices
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • High attention to detail, self-motivated, and client service driven
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook); experience with HubSpot CRM is an asset
