THE ROLE

Our client is seeking an Order Entry Specialist to join their team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Based on-site Monday through Friday (with flexible start times between 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM), this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured yet high-energy setting.

As the key point of contact for order processing and data management, you will ensure that internal and external customers receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling purchase orders, invoicing, and EDI system monitoring. While client interaction is minimal (approximately 15%), strong communication and professionalism are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Order Entry & Processing – Accurately handle purchase orders, invoicing, and data management
• EDI System Monitoring – Oversee electronic data interchange (EDI) for order tracking and processing
• Customer Communication – Provide updates and address inquiries with professionalism
• Shipment Tracking & Reporting – Monitor shipments, report delays, and manage inventory counts
• Administrative Support – Manage email inboxes, set up new items in ERP, and collaborate with internal teams

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working with purchase orders and work orders
• 1+ years of experience in a similar data entry position
• Strong organizational & time management skills
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, ERP software, and EDI system
• Able to manage stress effectively in a fast-paced role
• Self-motivation & adaptability
• Strong accuracy & attention to detail
