THE ROLE
We are currently partnering with a well-established and highly respected organization in the agriculture and manufacturing sector to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their team in Langley, BC. This is an excellent Senior Accountant opportunity for an experienced accounting professional seeking a stable, long-term career opportunity within a collaborative and supportive environment.
This is a hands-on Senior Accountant position focused on overseeing the full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while supporting broader accounting operations and month-end activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, improving processes, and supporting the ongoing success of the accounting team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment processing
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely and accurate payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, collections, and cash applications
- Monitor AR aging and follow up on overdue accounts
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support financial audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Provide mentorship and support to junior team members as needed
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong exposure to both AP and AR
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in process improvements or system implementations is considered an asset
- Leadership or mentoring experience is considered an asset
