THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for cleaning buses to a high standard, working independently in a physical, steady-paced environment that involves routine cleaning tasks and regular bending, kneeling, and reaching to ensure vehicles are clean and ready for service. We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Bus Cleaner. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning buses to a high standard while working independently and maintaining a steady pace throughout the shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean interior and exterior areas of buses, including seating, floors, windows, and high-touch surfaces
• Ensure buses are clean, sanitary, and ready for service
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and removing waste
• Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity
• Report any damage or maintenance issues identified during cleaning
• Carry out physical tasks, including kneeling, bending, reaching, and extended arm movement above shoulder level

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years of cleaning epxierence required
• Experience in automotive cleaning is great, but not a requirement. 
• Ability to work independently and stay on task without supervision
• Physically capable of performing repetitive cleaning duties throughout the shift
• Comfortable with bending, kneeling, and overhead reaching for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• Previous experience in automotive or vehicle cleaning is an asset, but not required
• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
