THE ROLE

We are seeking a Deli Clerk to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for preparing customer orders, supporting daily deli operations, and providing exceptional service to all customers.

In this role, you'll work at the hot service counter, prepare daily specials, maintain inventory, and ensure all products are presented and served safely and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome customers and identify their needs
• Operate flat top grill and prepare daily specials for the hot service counter
• Explain products to customers and provide recommendations
• Monitor inventory to ensure products are in stock
• Enter and process customer orders accurately
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints professionally
• Clean and maintain deli equipment and work surfaces
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working in a deli 2+ years preferred
• Experience operating a flat top grill
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in food service or a deli operation is preferred but not required
