Position & Client Overview:
Our client, located in the Mid-Atlantic, is currently seeking a Core Laboratory Manager to oversee day to day operations of their busy clinical hospital laboratory. This large and prestigious academic teaching university hospital is only a couple of hours away from the District of Columbia.
Salary Range: $93,000-$150,000

Job Summary:
Responsible for the management and administrative functions for the laboratory. Responsible for policy development and implementation, regulatory compliance and quality assurance. Supervision is exercised over laboratory supervisors, clinical staff and support staff.
Chemistry, Immunochemistry and Electrophoresis, Hematology and Special Hematology, Coagulation and Special Coagulation, Manuals and Serology, and Specimen Management.
The position will have 10 Direct Reports (4 Laboratory Supervisors, 6 Lead Technologists) and approximately 90 team members (Clinical Lab Scientists and Specimen Management Technicians).
