Head of Product Growth

Seeking a Head of Product Growth to continue improving key metrics by scaling their high-velocity product A/B testing program. You will own product growth strategy, roadmap, test design and assessment. You will be supported by product design, engineering and data teams. They expect you to build your own lean growth team and a high-velocity growth program that runs hundreds of tests per year. Your success will be measured by winning tests moving key metrics, especially new guest activations. Key Responsibilities

·      Improve key metrics: new guest activation is the primary focus, followed by guest LTV. You will also own supply-side metrics with focus on new spots added and host bookings.

·      Own the product experimentation program: design, run and analyze results for A/B tests on all product surfaces including app & web on-boarding, browse experience, landing pages, subscription flows, gating features, pricing and packaging.

·      Generate bold product test ideas at scale: use right and left brain thinking to design and run a scalable process to generate bold ideas for product tests and meaningfully move metrics.

·      They prefer testing material changes to experience, not just copy changes.

·      Partner cross-functionally: work closely with engineering, product design, marketing and other teams to ship thoughtful, well-instrumented tests.

·      Ensure data quality: define metrics, validate tracking, maintain clean experiment analysis and documentation.

·      Build product growth strategy: develop their growth model in partnership with marketing, generate great test ideas, prioritize opportunities, and create quarterly roadmaps.

·      Hire & lead: recruit a team to support scaling experimentation function

·      Stay user-obsessed: talk to customers, use the product yourself, and ground decisions in real user behavior.


What They’re Looking For

·      Product experience: 8+ years in product growth or experimentation-focused PM roles.

·      Experimentation experience: deep experience designing, running and assessing A/B tests, ideally on both mobile and web apps. Experience building high-velocity A/B testing processes, including ideation, and platforms.

·      Relevant business experience: experience with subscription, mobile-first consumer, and/or marketplace businesses

·      Stage experience: knows how to work in early stage startups, but also seen best practices at scale

·      Strategic, but hands-on: can think like a product owner, but also expected to write briefs, pull reports, able to get into details of QA and testing, etc.

·      Right and left brain thinking: excellent analytical skills, but also able to empathize with customers and great design instincts

·      Detail oriented: recognize that the devil is in the details with product experiments; attending to all details of experiment design and closely QA’ing implementation and data.

·      Remote async: thrives in a fully remote, async environment.

·      Team builder: experience hiring and developing talent, ideally globally
