As the Marketing Director, you’ll lead the execution of marketing campaigns, product launches, and growth initiatives across all digital channels. This is a highly tactical role with full ownership over marketing performance — including direct oversight of agencies, creative output, and campaign results.
The ideal candidate combines strong leadership instincts with executional grit, has a long track record of success in digital marketing, and thrives in a lean, high-performance team with clear goals and strong incentives to perform.
What You’ll Own:

Campaign Execution: Plan and launch full-funnel marketing campaigns for new product releases, sales events, and brand initiatives across paid (Meta, Google, YouTube, etc.) and owned (email, SMS, socials) channels.

Paid Media Oversight: Manage Meta and Google ad accounts with intimate platform knowledge. Guide strategy, budgets, audience targeting, bidding, and creative testing with agency partners and in-house team members. Strong competency here is non-negotiable.

Agency & Partner Management: Lead and hold accountable the performance marketing, email/SMS, and creative agencies to meet goals and drive profitable growth.

Influencer & Ambassador Marketing: Collaborate with creators, influencers, and brand ambassadors to generate content, brand reach, and authentic customer acquisition.

Retention & Lifecycle: Oversee email and SMS flows and campaigns, optimizing for LTV, churn reduction, and customer retention.

Analytics & Efficiency: Monitor and analyze marketing KPIs (CAC, LTV, ROAS, AOV, retention). Optimize budget allocation and report learnings to the leadership team.

Promotions Calendar: Own the planning and execution of the company-wide marketing calendar, including seasonal sales and launches.

Product Storytelling: Lead marketing efforts for go-to-market launches with messaging that clearly articulates product benefits and brand differentiation.

Channel Expansion: Continuously research, identify, and test new marketing channels to expand profitable marketing spend that drives revenue growth.
What We’re Looking For:

Prior leadership experience in a Marketing role for an e-commerce direct-to-consumer brand at >$15,000,000 annual revenue (3–5+ years of experience desired)

Clear, causal examples demonstrating how your impact in this role directly contributed to company growth

Hands-on mastery of Meta and Google Ads platforms with competencies to run or oversee the running of successful marketing campaigns
- Track record of managing and driving results through external marketing agencies and vendors
- Highly analytical with fluency in marketing data, attribution, and performance metrics
- Deep understanding of the full customer lifecycle for an e-commerce, direct to customer brand — from acquisition to repeat purchase to lifetime adoption
- Experience working with creators, influencers, or brand ambassador programs
- Exceptional communication and project management skills

Expectations & Intensity
This role is about pushing limits, not maintaining the status quo. We're looking for someone with founder-level intensity — who’s hungry to crush growth targets and ready to put in the time and energy to do it. Expect to work a minimum of 50 hours per week and be responsive on weekends as needed.
Travel Requirements
This role may require periodic travel for key events, photo/video shoots, team summits, or other business needs. Candidates not based in the Nashville area should expect to travel as needed to Nashville HQ based on business needs as determined by the CEO.
