Senior Marketing Manager

The Role

Seeking a Marketing Manager to grow both sides of to their new B2B2C line: the employer pipeline, through sales enablement and employer marketing, and employee enrollment, activation, engagement, and retention once a company is live. This role owns the full loop — helping them win employers, then turning their eligible employees into engaged ones through hands-on lifecycle marketing and by partnering with HR to reach employees through employer-owned channels.

This is a 0-to-1 role. You'll be the first marketing hire dedicated to their new B2B2C line building most of it from scratch — the campaigns, the lifecycle journeys, the launch playbook, the reporting, and the operating rhythm. You'll partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Creative, and Data and help shape what good looks like.

What You'll Do

Support employer growth and sales enablement

  • Build the collateral, case studies, and proof points Sales uses to win employers
  • Turn enrollment and engagement results into the performance story they take to market
  • Partner with Sales on demand generation programs that build the employer pipeline
  • Support employer-facing moments including pitches, business reviews, and renewal conversations

Own the employee activation and engagement funnel

  • Own enrollment, activation, engagement, and retention goals across every employer population
  • Map the employee journey from launch awareness through account creation, first contribution, and sustained saving
  • Diagnose where eligible employees drop off and prioritize the work that moves the biggest constraint
  • Report funnel performance to Growth, Product, Sales, and commercial leadership

Build and run lifecycle programs

  • Design and ship multi-channel campaigns across email, SMS, push, in-app, and workplace channels
  • Own segmentation, triggers, personalization, and journey logic hands-on in their CRM platform
  • Build onboarding, activation, lapse, and win-back journeys that turn new enrollees into consistent savers
  • Write and QA the copy, and manage campaigns through creative and compliance review

Develop and scale the enrollment playbook

  • Build a repeatable launch playbook that can be deployed at every new employer with minimal lift
  • Create the employer-facing toolkit that makes it easy for HR partners to promote to their new B2B2C line internally
  •

  • Partner with Sales/Customer Success on launch timing, manager enablement, and on-site moments that drive sign-ups
  • Build a lead nurturing program from 0-1 driving qualified leads throughout the sales funnel to employee enrollment and recurring engagement

Drive experimentation and performance

  • Run a continuous testing roadmap across channel, message, incentive, timing, and creative
  • Define and track enrollment rate, time to first contribution, activation, engagement, and retention
  • Build reporting that shows each employer how their population is performing
  • Turn results into playbook updates so every launch starts smarter than the last

What They’re Looking For

They’re looking for a marketer who can take a funnel from strategy through execution, is comfortable doing the work themselves, and thrives without an established playbook.

Required experience

  • Experience in lifecycle, CRM, or growth marketing owning consumer activation, engagement, and retention outcomes
  • Deep hands-on experience in a CRM or marketing automation platform (Braze, Iterable, Hubspot, Marketo, Salesforce or similar)
  • Proven track record designing multi-channel campaigns across email, SMS, push, and in-app
  • Track record building programs 0 to 1 — creating the process, tooling, and reporting
  • Strong experimentation discipline, and comfort pulling and interpreting your own data
  • Excellent writing — clear, plain-language consumer copy about money
  • Willingness to flex between consumer lifecycle work and B2B marketing as priorities shift
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent launches with different timelines, populations, and stakeholders

Nice To Have

  • B2B2C experience owning the consumer side of an employer- or payer-distributed product
  • B2B marketing exposure — sales enablement, collateral, or demand generation
  • Experience building or optimizing lead scoring systems
  • Familiarity with employer benefits cycles and HR communications constraints
  • Comfort presenting strategy and results to an employer stakeholder
