Seeking an experienced and driven Account Manager to join an independent digital media agency. In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring the successful execution, optimization, and reporting of their digital advertising campaigns. This position requires a deep, working knowledge of the modern AdTech ecosystem, including hands-on experience with key platforms (DSPs, SSPs, Audience Targeting, Programmatic Ad-Buying, CTV). You'll translate client goals into strategic media plans and effectively communicate campaign performance and insights, driving client retention and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the strategic partner to clients, managing day-to-day communications, setting expectations, and building strong, long-term relationships.
- Ad Tech Campaign Execution & Strategy: Apply your expertise across the digital advertising landscape, including Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) and Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs), to structure and optimize campaign performance.
- Campaign Performance: Oversee campaign launch, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization across various ad tech platforms to ensure all KPIs and client objectives are met or exceeded.
- Reporting & Insights: Prepare and present detailed performance reports, clearly articulating results, providing strategic data-driven insights, and recommending future actions.
- Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities for campaign upsells, new service adoption, and strategic growth within existing client accounts.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal product, engineering, and sales teams to address client needs, provide feedback, and ensure client success.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years’ experience in AdTech with at least 3 in an AM capacity
- Relationship Management: Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as their trusted technical advisor and the primary point of contact.
- Proven experience as an Account Manager, Media Planner, or similar role within a digital media agency or ad tech vendor.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency and working knowledge of major DSPs (e.g., The Trade Desk, DV360), and familiarity with SSPs and other programmatic tools.
- Strong understanding of digital media metrics (CPM, CPC, CPA, ROAS) and how they relate to full-funnel marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the ad tech ecosystem, its players, and how it all works
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent agency environment.
- Can work in the Northern New Jersey office daily.
