VP of Marketing


We are partnering with a brand-new venture being launched by a multi-time founder (his previous company is valued at over $1 billion). This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor and act as part of the founding team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business.


The company is currently pre-revenue, well-capitalized, and preparing to launch through a unique partnership-driven growth strategy. Rather than stepping into an established marketing organization, you'll help build the marketing function from scratch and work directly alongside the founders to define how the company goes to market.


The Opportunity


We are seeking a VP of Marketing who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from zero, and wants to have a meaningful impact on a company's trajectory. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, partnerships, business development, and growth strategy.


Initially, your focus will be on developing and executing the strategic roadmap for partnerships and the marketing initiatives that support them. Over time, you'll help build the broader marketing organization, establish the company's brand presence, and create scalable growth engines.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute the company's partnership and go-to-market strategy
  • Build marketing programs that maximize the value of strategic partnerships
  • Identify and cultivate new business development opportunities
  • Collaborate directly with the founders on growth initiatives and company strategy
  • Establish foundational marketing processes, systems, and reporting
  • Help define brand positioning, messaging, and customer acquisition strategy
  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team as the company scales


What We're Looking For

  • Experience working in startup environments, particularly in early-stage or high-growth businesses
  • Track record helping build or scale brands with passionate, loyal customer communities
  • Strong strategic marketing and partnership development capabilities
  • Ability to operate across multiple functions and wear many hats
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in highly dynamic environments
  • Strong communicator who can influence both internal and external stakeholders


Preferred Background

  • Founding or early employee experience
  • Experience building partnership-driven growth engines
  • Background with cult-following consumer brands
