Quick Summary:

We’re looking for a Senior Consultant with hands-on expertise in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) 2.5.x to help clients design, implement, and operationalize automation solutions. This role combines technical delivery with client engagement, focusing on building scalable automation, operational playbooks, and platform governance. This is a fully remote engagement, approximately 184 hours.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automation solutions using Ansible Playbooks, Roles, Collections, and custom modules.
• Deploy and configure AAP 2.5.x, including containerized installations using Podman.
• Deliver Day 2 operational playbooks for onboarding, RBAC, job lifecycle management, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Transition existing Ansible content to Ansible Platform and enforce CIS Level 1 OS hardening.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams, provide demos, document solutions in GitHub/Confluence, and manage scope effectively.

Requirements:

• Advanced experience with Ansible Automation Platform 2.5.x and its components (Controller, Gateway, Automation Hub, Event-Driven Ansible).
• Proficiency in Python, custom Ansible modules/plugins, and containerization concepts (Podman, image registries).
• Experience with integrations, config-as-code, and automation governance.
• Strong communication skills and client-facing experience.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and Jira for tracking tasks and progress.
• Must be US based, no C2C
