We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Trainer / System Administration Specialist to support a high-impact Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program modernizing an Air Operations Center (AOC). This role blends hands-on system administration with training design and delivery for U.S. DoD and international partners—contributing directly to mission readiness and global defense collaboration.

What You’ll Do
Training Design & Delivery
- Design immersive training programs for system administrators, operators, maintainers, and cybersecurity professionals.
- Translate technical concepts into clear, engaging instruction in collaboration with engineers and SMEs.
- Lead in-person and virtual training sessions, including Train-the-Trainer events in secure and international settings.
- Deliver training OCONUS (Middle East), maintaining cultural awareness and adaptability.
Course Development & LMS Integration
- Create syllabi, lab guides, and instructional content tailored for technical audiences.
- Build and manage course content within Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Design interactive assessments and tools to reinforce learning objectives.
System Administration & Technical Support
- Provide expert support across Windows Server and Linux systems.
- Administer secure computing environments—cloud, virtualization, and VDI.
- Manage network services like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and use tools such as PowerShell and Cisco routers/switches.
- Support cybersecurity monitoring with tools like Splunk, Forescout, Nexpose, Ivanti, and Palo Alto.
Security & Compliance
- Conduct system hardening, patch management, and vulnerability assessments.
- Implement security measures such as endpoint protection, firewalls, and anti-malware tools.
- Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and secure coding best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Participate in customer and internal meetings to ensure training effectiveness and operational readiness.
- Deliver clear reporting and documentation to leadership and stakeholders.
- Continuously improve training processes and technical procedures.

Education: Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field — or 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience:
- At least 5 years in system administration or technical training.
- Direct experience with Command & Control (C2) or AOC systems.
- Comfortable training in secure and international environments.
Technical Proficiency in:
- Windows and/or Linux system administration
- Networking: DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, HTTP/S, DHCP
- Scripting: PowerShell, Bash
- Systems like Active Directory, Splunk, Forescout, endpoint protection
- Cloud infrastructure, virtual labs, and LMS platforms
- Microsoft Office (advanced use of templates, macros, forms)
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with C4I systems such as Link 16, GBAD, Voice Comms, ACS/IDS
- Experience with hybrid and secure cloud environments
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro)
- Developing training for non-native English speakers
- Certifications like Security+, Network+, CCNA, MCSA
- Prior OCONUS deployments or experience working in the Middle East
