Position Summary

Mount Indie is seeking an experienced Red Hat Satellite Senior Consultant to support a 1,040-hour consulting engagement in Merritt Island, FL, with the potential for extension. This role will provide senior-level Red Hat Satellite expertise in support of the customer’s environment, working closely with the project architect and customer team to plan and execute the engagement. The position is hybrid, with a significant onsite component in Merritt Island.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level technical expertise in Red Hat Satellite and related Red Hat technologies.
• Support the design, implementation, configuration, and administration of Red Hat Satellite environments.
• Work directly with the project architect and customer to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Assist with deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of Satellite infrastructure.
• Support system management, patching, provisioning, content management, and lifecycle management within Satellite.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations for improving the customer environment.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders and technical teams throughout the engagement.
• Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance as needed.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Satellite in enterprise environments.
• Senior-level experience administering and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
• Experience with Satellite architecture, configuration, content management, patching, provisioning, and lifecycle management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work directly with customers and collaborate with architects and technical teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate independently in a customer-facing consulting environment.
• Willingness and ability to support the required onsite schedule in Merritt Island, FL.
