General Summary

Mount Indie is seeking a Senior Consultant with hands-on experience in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4, specializing in application development, migrations, and containerization. This is a fully remote consulting opportunity with an estimated 1,080 hours of work with the potential for extension. Candidates must meet the MBI (Moderate Background Investigation) requirement and have experience migrating applications and modernizing them for containerized environments.

Responsibilities

• Support application migrations to Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.
• Containerize existing applications and prepare them for deployment in OpenShift environments.
• Assist with application modernization and development initiatives to support container-based architectures.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications running on OpenShift.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to identify migration requirements and resolve technical challenges.
• Support application testing, deployment, and validation throughout the migration process.
• Apply best practices for containerization, application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.
• Hands-on experience with application migrations and containerization.
• Experience preparing applications for deployment in containerized environments.
• Understanding of Kubernetes, containers, and OpenShift application deployment.
• Experience troubleshooting application issues during migrations and deployments.
• MBI (Moderate Background Investigation) required.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.
