Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) Senior Consultant to support the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform within a secure enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Red Hat AAP, infrastructure automation, and enterprise Linux environments, along with the ability to work collaboratively with technical teams to implement scalable automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and administer Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
- Develop, test, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks.
- Integrate AAP with enterprise systems, tools, and CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
- Troubleshoot automation issues and optimize existing workflows for performance and reliability.
- Document automation solutions, best practices, and operational procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to customer personnel.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to implement automation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and administering Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience developing Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, and automation workflows.
- Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and scripting skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a hybrid team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, or Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation).
- Experience integrating AAP with enterprise ITSM, cloud, or CI/CD platforms.
- Familiarity with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, or other version control and automation tools.
- Experience supporting secure government or DoD environments.
Additional Information
- 320-hour consulting engagement with potential for extension
