Join our targets systems engineering division supporting a government missile defense program as its engineering operations lead. You will be the operational hub for the division: running executive engineering rhythms and tasker workflows, steering lifecycle and baseline documentation, and keeping communication moving across government stakeholders, prime contractors and partner organizations.
What You Will Do
• Run the weekly division staff rhythm end to end: chart inputs, consolidated technical presentations, logistics and pre-brief packages for leadership
• Report baseline changes, schedule shifts and technical wins up to the engineering directorate
• Assemble program and technical status briefs for senior leadership
• Keep the 30/60/90-day milestone review calendar for every target program, resolve conflicts, and send leadership an executive summary after each review
• Act as the division's primary action officer in the government tasking system, triaging and driving Congressional, OSD and internal taskers to closure
• Move classified and unclassified tasker inputs between NIPRNet and SIPRNet under strict OPSEC rules
• Process industry media engagement requests and public release packages, coordinating acquisition, legal and strategic communications reviews and drafting Staff Summary Sheets
• Lead the annual division historical summary and coordinate FFRDC data calls and technical conference nominations
• Lead the annual CARD update supporting the President's Budget: kickoffs across logistics, acquisition, contracts, software, cyber and manifest teams, appendix consolidation, Form 100 comment adjudication and executive sign-off
• Manage biennial PESHE updates with the quality and environmental management offices
• Own review cycles, comment matrix adjudication, routing and publishing for core program documents
• Maintain configuration-controlled baseline archives on SharePoint, DOD365 and SIPR shared networks
