Position Summary

We are seeking a Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4 (OCP) Platform Deployment Senior Consultant to support the deployment and implementation of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform environments.

This is a 100% remote consulting engagement focused on hands-on OpenShift platform deployment, configuration, and implementation. The consultant will work with customer technical teams to deploy and configure OCP, troubleshoot deployment issues, and help establish a stable and operational platform environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience deploying OpenShift Container Platform 4 and a solid understanding of Kubernetes, Linux, networking, storage, and enterprise infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4 (OCP 4) environments.
• Perform OpenShift platform installation, configuration, and implementation activities.
• Configure and integrate OpenShift with underlying infrastructure and enterprise services.
• Troubleshoot complex issues encountered during OpenShift deployment and configuration.
• Support platform networking, storage, authentication, and related infrastructure components.
• Validate OpenShift environments following deployment and assist with platform readiness activities.
• Work directly with customer technical teams to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer on OpenShift deployment and platform operations.
• Document deployment procedures, configurations, and technical recommendations.
• Apply Red Hat best practices for OpenShift platform deployment and configuration.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.
• Experience deploying and configuring OpenShift environments.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container platforms.
• Strong Linux administration experience.
• Understanding of networking and storage within OpenShift environments.
• Experience troubleshooting OpenShift installation, configuration, and platform issues.
• Strong customer-facing communication and consulting skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.



Preferred Qualifications

• Red Hat OpenShift certifications.
• Experience with enterprise or production-scale OpenShift deployments.
• Experience with bare-metal, virtualized, or on-premises OpenShift environments.
• Experience with OpenShift networking, storage, authentication, and cluster configuration.
• Experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) or other infrastructure automation tools.
• Previous experience working as a Red Hat consultant or Red Hat partner consultant.
