Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance

Location: Remote | Up to 30% Travel (Oneida, NY & Kuwait)

We’re hiring a Systems Engineer to support a high-visibility Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program focused on modernizing an Air Operations Center (AOC). You’ll play a key role in building and deploying system hardware and software that supports mission-critical operations for international defense partners.

This role combines technical hands-on configuration work with collaboration across engineering and support teams. If you're detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about secure systems, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and enterprise applications on servers, desktops, and embedded platforms.
• Perform pre-installation checks to ensure hardware/software compatibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation and configuration issues quickly and effectively.
• Work closely with engineering, support, and project teams to meet technical requirements and deployment schedules.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of installation processes, configurations, and updates.

What You’ll Bring

• Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science or related field preferred)
• Experience:
• 3+ years in a similar engineering or system integration role
• Working knowledge of Secure Computing Environments and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
• Understanding of Red/Black separation concepts
• Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS (up to 30%)
• Skills:
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communicator with solid documentation habits
• Team player with the ability to collaborate across technical functions



Preferred Experience

• Previous work supporting Operations or Command Centers
• Familiarity with U.S. Air Force Command and Control (C2) systems
• Experience with C4I systems, including:
• Audio/Visual systems
• Access Control / Intrusion Detection Systems (ACS/IDS)
• Voice communications, Link 16, Ground-Based Air Defense (GBAD)
