Mount Indie is seeking a skilled .NET Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of customized business applications for a federal client. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Microsoft development tools, front-end frameworks, and cloud-based platforms, as well as a strong ability to troubleshoot and deliver scalable, user-friendly web applications.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with a cross-functional Agile team using tools like JIRA, Microsoft Teams.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine technical and product requirements.
- Design, develop, configure, and deploy custom .NET web solutions.
- Manage priorities across multiple projects and development team members.
- Test, debug, and maintain software while following SDLC and configuration management standards.
- Create user interface mockups, prototypes, and demo solutions to stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing applications and systems.
- Conduct peer code reviews, unit and integration testing, and assist with performance tuning of applications.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7+ years as a .NET developer and/or SharePoint developer.
- Front-end development experience with AngularJS or ReactJS.
- Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC, C#, and web application development.
- Strong understanding of Windows SharePoint Services and scalable SharePoint-based solutions.
- Experience with SharePoint 2013 or newer, including workflow and content management.
- Experience with Entity Framework and building/maintaining Data Access Layers.
- Proficient with MS SQL, Git, TFS, SharePoint Designer, O365 Microsoft suite of applications, and SharePoint Online (including lists and libraries).
- Understanding of LDAP/Active Directory authentication and group security for SharePoint.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to debugging and production support.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum environments and collaborating across design, QA, DevOps, and PM teams.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services, DevOps tools, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git, Bamboo, Jenkins).
- 5 days/week on site in Washington, D.C.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience developing applications for federal agencies or highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
- Experience with federal cybersecurity policies and compliance frameworks.
- Background in migrating legacy .NET applications to modern React & cloud-based solutions
