We are seeking an Operations Compliance Specialist I to support internal audit and compliance efforts aligned with FAR/DFAR regulations and company procedures.This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for candidates looking to build a foundation in audit, compliance, and government contracting. You’ll gain hands-on experience reviewing data, supporting audits, and helping ensure operational integrity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting internal audits to evaluate:
- Effectiveness of internal controls
- Accuracy of records
- Operational efficiency
- Review and analyze data to identify compliance gaps with FAR/DFAR and internal policies
- Document audit findings and prepare detailed reports for leadership review
- Support the development and implementation of corrective action plans
- Maintain and update audit procedures, documentation, and records
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather information and support audit activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
- In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of relevant experience may be considered
- 0–2 years of experience in compliance, audit, or related field
- Basic understanding of FAR/DFAR regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to audit processes or compliance frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or hands-on experience in a compliance or audit role
- Experience supporting the Aerospace & Defense industry, Department of Defense, or military environments

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and compliance-related tools/databases

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Primarily computer-based work
- Ability to read and analyze detailed regulatory and compliance documents
- Occasional travel may be required for audits or site visits
- Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment
