General Summary

Mount Indie is seeking a Senior Consultant specializing in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 9 and Ansible automation for RHEL environments. This is a fully remote opportunity with an estimated 1,580 hours of consulting work, with the potential for extension. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and have strong experience supporting, configuring, and automating RHEL environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 environments.
• Develop and implement Ansible automation for RHEL system administration and configuration management.
• Automate routine operational tasks, system updates, and configuration changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Linux system issues to maintain system performance and reliability.
• Apply best practices for Linux administration, automation, and system security.
• Collaborate with technical teams to support infrastructure needs and project objectives.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Senior-level experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux, specifically RHEL 9.
• Hands-on experience using Ansible to automate RHEL administration and configuration tasks.
• Strong understanding of Linux system configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.
