We’re hiring a Project Manager/Scheduler to help lead a major, multi-year Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program focused on modernizing Air Operations Centers. This high-impact role supports critical upgrades to Command and Control (C2) systems, radar platforms, and IT infrastructure—strengthening defense capabilities around the globe.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) per contract and internal standards.
- Track key milestones, deliverables, and deadlines—ensuring projects stay on course.
- Manage a detailed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to align tasks, timelines, and dependencies.
- Oversee all contract deliverables, including the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Data Accession List (DAL).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—engineering, logistics, technical writing, and operations—to ensure alignment across the project lifecycle.
- Support workflow development and uphold quality, risk, and compliance standards.
- Take on additional program management responsibilities as needed.
What You’ll Bring
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience supporting U.S. Air Force programs in a defense contracting or systems integrator role.
- 5–10+ years of project management experience on large, multi-vendor programs—preferably in defense, aerospace, or federal environments.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Project Scheduler or Configuration Manager on federal contracts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, including:
- Managing schedules with 1,000+ tasks
- Tracking critical paths
- Performing resource loading
- Deep familiarity with:
- Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
- Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- CDRL and DAL oversight
- Solid Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Comfortable working in SharePoint for document control and configuration tracking.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Bonus If You Have
- Experience working with Operations or Command Centers.
- Familiarity with U.S. Air Force Command and Control (C2) systems.
- Exposure to C4I systems, such as:
- Audio/Visual systems
- Access Control / Intrusion Detection Systems (ACS/IDS)
- Voice communications, Link 16, Ground-Based Air Defense (GBAD)
