Join our advanced technologies team supporting a government missile defense program. You will lead systems engineering for space-based infrared data exploitation used for missile tracking, discrimination and cueing, carrying new capabilities from lab prototypes to fielded operations.
What You Will Do
• Plan and execute systems engineering for space system data exploitation supporting missile tracking, discrimination and cueing
• Work across four efforts: fielding Enterprise Sensors Processing Node (ESPN) capabilities, evaluating Enterprise Sensors Lab (ESL) prototypes, integrating the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA), and building cruise missile indications and warning
• Take part in technical reviews at the SECRET and TS levels
• Evaluate infrared data exploitation performance during real-world events and help assess and integrate new infrared sensors
• Brief operators, developers and senior leaders
• Support the program manager on acquisition actions: getting contractors on contract, securing Government Furnished Equipment and Information, and assessing contractor performance
Required Qualifications
• 12+ years on missile defense or other large, complex DoD programs
• Strong command of systems engineering and execution processes
• Some background in radars, missile defense weapon systems, BOA (BMDS OPIR Architecture) or C2BMC
• Able to lead systems engineering processes that move emerging capabilities into operations
• Master's degree in a STEM field
• Secret clearance or higher
• Onsite in Huntsville, AL
Preferred Qualifications
