We are seeking a Project Manager to support the implementation of GitLab Duo within the DMDC IT GEMS environment. This role will focus on coordinating requirements gathering, managing agile sprints, tracking blockers, and ensuring timely delivery. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to support adoption of GitLab Duo across ~300+ critical DoD and veteran support applications.

This is a nine(9) month contract with potential for transition to core team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Partner with the Product Owner to refine and prioritize the backlog.
• Remove impediments and shield the team from external interruptions.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communications.
• Track, report, and present progress metrics to leadership.
• Support training sessions and feedback collection to measure tool effectiveness.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

• Active Secret (Tier 3) security clearance or higher.
• 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager with engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred: Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).

About the Team

The Platform Engineering team delivers and supports core infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices that ensure secure, reliable, and scalable application delivery. The team is completing its migration from on-premises to OCI, while continuing to enhance enterprise maturity through modern DevSecOps processes and best practices.
