Graphic Designer II (Internal Communications & Executive Visuals)
We’re hiring a Graphic Designer to play a critical role in how leaders communicate ideas internally. This is a newly created, dedicated design position focused on internal-facing corporate and operational content—not external marketing. In this role, you’ll partner closely with leadership teams to turn complex ideas, early-stage concepts, and rough inputs into clear, executive-ready visuals, with PowerPoint as your primary medium. What You’ll Do
- Create and refine internal presentation materials, primarily in PowerPoint, for leadership briefings and internal communications
- Turn rough inputs—whiteboard sketches, early concepts, and draft ideas—into polished, consumable visual deliverables
- Develop first-draft visual documentation of initiatives, plans, and concepts
- Support executive-level communications with visuals that are structured, compelling, and easy to understand
- Translate complex topics (e.g., AI initiatives, cross-functional teams, process changes) into clear visual narratives
- Help teams build working packages and presentation materials for internal stakeholders
- Ensure visual consistency and cohesive storytelling across teams and initiatives
- Collaborate closely with internal partners through frequent feedback and multiple design iterations
What You’ll Bring (Required)
- Graphic Designer II–level experience (2+ years); more senior candidates are welcome - need to have exposure to aerospace and defense industry
Strong hands-on experience with:
- PowerPoint
- Adobe Creative Cloud Software
- Experience with one or more of Adobe Creative Suite Applications: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat
- Standard graphic design applications
- SharePoint sites and internal web content
- Proven experience creating internal corporate or operational content (not solely marketing materials)
- Ability to work directly with VPs, Directors, and executive leadership
- Strong visual storytelling skills with an emphasis on clarity, structure, and readability
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative, highly collaborative environment
- Strong background in supporting digital transformation initiatives within the industry (aerospace and defense manufacturing) blending technical knowledge with creative innovation to drive impactful results
Familiarity with:

Background in aerospace and defense manufacturing with a proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear, visually engaging designs
- Operational excellence or quality-focused organizations
- Ability to take high-level or “white paper” concepts and develop them into executive-ready visuals
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience
- Experience with sofware applicaiton programs such as SolidWorks, 3DS Max, The Foundry Modo, brush, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Filezilla, Wordpress tools and Google Apps.
- Exposure to web and print design, video/audio editing. 2D and/or 3D animation
- Understanding of 3D printing software such as Autodesk Mesh Fusion, 3DS Z Edit Pro, Autodesk NetFabb or Google Sketchup
- Motion graphics experience (light editing, short-form visual messaging) including editing and post-prodction with working experience in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
