We are hiring a Windows Systems Administrator to join a team supporting the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) in a remote setting. As a member of this team, you will manage, optimize, and secure the hybrid enterprise infrastructure spanning on-premises environments and public cloud platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring high-availability Windows Server environments, administering Active Directory, and managing virtualized and cloud-based resources to ensure peak system performance and strict security compliance.The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in hybrid operations, with a particular focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, along with robust network troubleshooting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management: Configure, maintain, and secure Windows Server environments across physical, virtualized, and hybrid cloud infrastructures.

Identity & Access Control: Administer and optimize Active Directory (AD) structures, object permissions, and domain services.

Cloud Operations: Deploy, monitor, and manage compute resources, with an emphasis on OCI and AWS ecosystems.

System Performance & Compliance: Proactively monitor system performance, apply patches, and enforce security policies across all platforms to maintain operational compliance.

Automation: Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform) and leverage cloud-native images to streamline system deployments and configurations.
Required QualificationsExperience:
- Current DoD Secret Clearance or higher

DoD 8570 IAT II (such as Security +)
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Windows Systems Administration.

Platform Expertise: Proven experience managing virtualized environments and deploying/managing resources within cloud platforms, specifically emphasizing OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and AWS (Amazon Web Services)

Core Networking: Strong candidates must have demonstrated experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Domain Name System (DNS) configurations and resolution issues.

Infrastructure Automation: Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform) and OCI native images is highly preferred.
