Position Summary

Mount Indie is seeking an experienced Ansible for RHEL Senior Consultant to support a 1,040-hour consulting engagement in Merritt Island, FL, with the potential for extension. This role will provide senior-level expertise in automating the management, configuration, and deployment of Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. The position is hybrid, with a significant onsite component in Merritt Island.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level expertise in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and RHEL automation.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Ansible automation for Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
• Automate system configuration, provisioning, patching, application deployment, and routine administrative tasks.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, and automation workflows.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing Ansible automation and RHEL environments.
• Work closely with the project architect and customer technical teams to understand requirements and develop automation solutions.
• Support the implementation and integration of automation across the customer’s RHEL environment.
• Provide technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to customer teams.
• Participate in customer discussions and provide recommendations for improving automation and system management processes.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Strong experience administering and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows.
• Experience automating RHEL configuration, provisioning, patching, and system administration tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate directly with architects, customers, and technical teams.
• Strong communication and customer-facing consulting skills.
• Willingness and ability to support the required onsite schedule in Merritt Island, FL.
