General Summary

Mount Indie is seeking a Senior Consultant specializing in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) to support customer environments and deliver automation solutions using Red Hat technologies. This is a remote consulting position supporting up to 1,760 hours with the potential for it to extend.The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform and the ability to work independently while collaborating with technical teams and customers to design, implement, and support automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Develop and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, workflows, and automation content.
• Support the deployment, configuration, and administration of Ansible Automation Platform environments.
• Work with customers and technical teams to understand automation requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation environments and Ansible deployments.
• Apply automation best practices to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and repeatability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout solution development and implementation.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to customer and project teams.
• Document technical solutions, configurations, and implementation procedures.

Requirements

• Senior-level, hands-on experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
• Strong experience developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Ansible Automation Platform environments.
• Strong understanding of Linux and enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working directly with customers or technical stakeholders.
• Red Hat certifications related to Ansible or automation are a plus.
