Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineering Consultant with expertise in RH OpenShift Container Platform 3 (OCP3) to support application deployment, platform assessments, and security benchmarking initiatives. This is a fully remote position, approximately 160 hours with potential to extend. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with OpenShift application deployments, YAML template validation, security hardening, and GitOps/infrastructure-as-code practices.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct OpenShift Virtualization migration assessments to evaluate platform readiness and risks.
• Perform detailed review and validation of Golden Template YAML manifests for applications.
• Benchmark platform security and compliance against CIS standards and industry best practices.
• Assess GitOps configuration management and infrastructure-as-code workflows for efficiency and compliance.
• Refine templates and deployment artifacts to meet security hardening requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployment strategy and platform engineering initiatives.
• Document findings, recommendations, and implementation guidance for stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with RH OpenShift Container Platform 3 deployments and application management.
• Expertise in YAML manifests, template validation, and OpenShift configuration.
• Familiarity with security benchmarking and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS).
• Hands-on experience with GitOps, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment automation.
• U.S. residency required.
