We are hiring a DSP / Systems Engineer to support the development of advanced RF and electronic warfare capabilities for mission-critical defense applications. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong Digital Signal Processing (DSP) foundation who also enjoys working across systems engineering, hardware integration, and FPGA implementation.
You'll collaborate with software, hardware, and FPGA engineers to develop high-performance signal processing solutions, manage hardware integration efforts, and help transition advanced concepts into operational systems.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, and optimize digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms for analog, digital, narrowband, and wideband RF signals.
- Develop filtering and signal processing techniques that improve system performance across a variety of RF environments.
- Implement and optimize DSP algorithms for FPGA-based radio platforms.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate signal processing capabilities into production software.
- Support hardware development activities, including hardware builds, integration, and system bring-up.
- Perform systems engineering activities such as technical trade studies, architecture evaluations, and hardware performance analysis.
- Research and evaluate emerging signal processing methods, hardware technologies, and implementation approaches.
- Contribute throughout the engineering lifecycle, from concept development through integration and testing.
What You'll Bring
- Active U.S. Security Clearance.
- Strong background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
- Experience working with analog, digital, narrowband, and wideband RF signal sets.
- Experience designing and implementing filtering techniques and signal processing algorithms.
- Understanding of FPGA implementation for radio or signal processing applications.
- Experience collaborating across hardware, software, and systems engineering disciplines.
- Familiarity with both traditional DSP techniques and machine learning-based signal processing methods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with RF communications, electronic warfare, radar, SIGINT, or related technologies.
- Experience managing hardware builds, system integration, or laboratory testing.
- Knowledge of embedded or real-time signal processing environments.
- Ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines in a fast-paced R&D environment.
