Join our missile defense targets program office team as its MBSE analyst. You will build and maintain SysML architecture models in a digital engineering framework, trace requirements and support technical baseline reviews alongside government leads and prime contractors.
What You Will Do
• Build and maintain SysML models that capture system behavior, structure, interfaces and operational requirements
• Trace system and component requirements to architecture artifacts, keeping verification matrices and baselines intact
• Connect MBSE models to external tools, simulations and data repositories as part of digital engineering efforts
• Prepare and present model-based material for milestone reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR and CCBs
• Run architecture trade studies, analyze IDDs and ICDs, and model interfaces to find gaps and integration risks
• Keep SysML models under version control and configuration baseline compliance
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years supporting missile defense or other large, complex DoD programs
• SysML and core frameworks such as DoDAF and UAF
• Hands-on MBSE tools: Cameo Systems Modeler or Cameo Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw, Sparx Enterprise Architect
• Turns complex architectures into clear diagrams, documentation and briefings for mixed audiences
• Bachelor's degree
• Active DoD Secret clearance
• Onsite in Huntsville, AL
Preferred Qualifications
• Missile defense program work (targets, C2BMC, Aegis BMD, THAAD or GMD)
• OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) at any level
• DOORS or Cameo Requirements, plus Jira and Confluence
• Integrating MBSE models with MATLAB/Simulink, Python or OpenMBEE
• CDRLs, technical baseline control and DoD systems engineering processes
